If you are cleaning your windows directly in the sun, you will see that this causes a bunch of streaks that will seemingly not go away no matter how much you clean them! It is frustrating, but knowing something as simple as when to wash them like when the sun passes by and is not shining on the window, or when it is so hot, can you save you a lot of time and frustration.

How you hold the squeegee counts!

Now when you are holding the squeegee, be sure that the angle is correct and it is in the directino of the water flow. If the water is flowing down towards your feet, pull the squeegee either sideways allowing the water being squeegeed to flow down to the part you haven’t hit yet. If you’re on a rooftop for example and the down angle is above your head, squeegee forward again so the water flows to the part not yet touched. Now going against the flow, water can build up and that will cause the water to come out the sides of the squeegee and this causes streaks.

Wiping the blade is important!

Some people are going to try to clean the whole window without wiping the blade until the very end. This won’t work very well and can make ugly streaks just from the water left on the blade. Every time you try to get that streak (which in essence is two times in the same spot) you will make another streak.You can avoid this problem by just wiping the blade after each strokeand get the window cleaned much faster without retracing steps.

Overlap the streaks

After each stroke you should overlap the top of the next stroke (about an inch into the dry area) and make your next stroke. If you are pointing the squeegee to make the water fall downward to the part of the window that is wet and you are drying the blade after every stroke, you won’t make
another streak on the window you will have to do over. Never try to squeegee right on the line, this could cause splash up into the dry area and is counter productive.

Use a lot of water

If you are afraid to use a lot of water, you will not have an easy time trying to make smooth strokes with the squeegee. be generous with your water use and always if you can, use sideway strokes on the water that is dripping down towards the wet part of the glass.

Our first tip is a simple thing you can do and that is to have the couple and the families go and make a shot list.With a day that can be as hectic and chaotic as a wedding day, doing this will help when you are trying to organize all the group and family shots later on in the day.You will love how you can just go through your list and get all the shots you want without leaving anything out.

The second tip on our list is to not delete any shots.  In this day and age of digital cameras, most photographers use them.Even though they are great, it is also tempting since it is so easy, to delete a shot.  Don’t even look at the previews.  What makes a great shot in your mind could differ widely that what makes a great shot in the couples minds.  And who knows, they might appreciate the so called un “professional” shots.

A third tip to consider is making sure you get candid shots.A good wedding photographer doesn’t look to just take your typical shots, like group shots, or wedding shots or your standard newly married shots.  But they will also try and capture the emotions of the day through the shots of all the people that were there.  And that includes some of the things that could go wrong, like a flower girl not making it all the way to the front, or the ring bearer dropping the rings.  Every shot counts.

The fourth tip is which is often overlooked is to make sure you have several cameras and other equipment as backup.  Do you even want to imagine having a camera stop working halfway through the day.Be prepared for anything that can go wrong.By being prepared for the worst and bringing extra cameras and equipment you will avoid the horrible moment fo not having any working cameras to capture the rest of the wedding. day.

Finally, you have to be prepared for the lighting and you do that by practicing. Don’t get thrown a curveball by the different lighting conditions whether inside the church or outside, practice and you will be prepared. Think about seeing if you can go to the locations of the big day and look for the best spots to take pictures as well as study the lighting needs.

• The bathroom. All of the family will be here at some point during the morning to get ready for school and work, and get ready for a que. Everyone wants to look good for the upcoming day, so theres gonna be a early morning rush for that bathroom causing many arguments.
• The kitchen. Everyone will be jumping in here to grab their meals for the day -and maybe a quick snack in between. Although not as many people will be venturing in as they would the living room, it’ll still see various traffic from the family.
• The garage. Still counts as a room in the house -to me anyway.~ If your garage is not actually used for cars, it can be made into something else, like a hobby room or something else for everyone else to have fun in.If the garage has the car in itll be the family drivers that use it -looking after their car to make sure its ‘protected from the elements’.
